• The Karakoram Recon stands as the most rigid binding in the Connect Series and takes the place of the Connect Ci. Its Power Sidewalls effectively channel your strength directly to the board. The Reactive Carbon Infused Highback is both lightweight and rigid. All Connect bindings feature an Open Chassis design, where all non-essential material has been removed. This not only reduces weight but also enhances natural flex beneath the binding, decreasing board chatter. Karakoram's Active Joining technology secures the binding to your board, allowing both halves to draw together during a split, ensuring optimal responsiveness on solid setups while making splitboards behave like solid ones.
• This binding comes with an EVA footbed, providing comfort for all-day use on both split and solid boards. It features the AirForm strap for added comfort, while the Airpod design enhances fitting and responsiveness, thanks to its closed structure. Unnecessary materials have been stripped away from the Air-Form Toe Straps, resulting in a lighter strap that easily adjusts over your toes.
• The Karakoram interface functions through a unique lever at the heelcup, enabling quick release from the interface. The Dual Ride-Stride Forward Lean Adjuster on the highback can be effortlessly turned to 90° and 180°, allowing for a Forward Lean of -8° during touring and an adjustable range of 0° to 22° while riding. All Karakoram Connect bindings available at Snowcountry are equipped with the Prime Connect 2.0 Interface, making them ready for use with both split and solid boards.
