Detailed description - Jones Ultra Mountain Twin snowboard. Weapon of choice for Sammy Luebke, three-time Freeride World Tour champion.
UMT is a twin with a freeride flair. Perfect for hard edge riding, jibbing and jumping. The Ultra Mountain Twin is a freestyle, directional twin built with premium materials for top speeds by absorbing any board vibrations. An experienced freerider who likes off-road riding and allows himself to make big jumps will also feel great on it. For its construction, the 3D Contour Base 2.0 shape and the Traction Tech 3.0 edge were used. The short ends of the board reduce its weight, Traction Tech 3.0 technology provides excellent edge grip in any terrain, and the 3D nose and tail shape ensures easy and smooth turns. The well-balanced rocker on the nose and tail ensures very good float in powder, and the camber underfoot makes the Ultra Mountain Twin ride like on rails on the hardest slopes. The top-class Sintered 9900 sintered base gives you the maximum speed you need to have fun. Basalt Linen Power Stringers and a new FSC™ ash veneer top layer provide stability when riding on the edge. The new Ultra Mountain Twin also has an additional insert option called the Freestyle/Freeride Stance package which allows you to set up your bindings symmetrically like on a classic twin, or with a little setback to set up your bindings like on a directional board. In practice, you have two boards in one package!

The dimensions of a snowboard define how that board performs on snow. The dimension specs of all our models are fine tuned for specific styles of riding. Understand how waist width, flex and sidecut and stance dimensions effect board performance to find the best board for you.
To decide between two sizes, choose the smaller size if your priority is maneuverability and freestyle performance, choose the larger size if you're focused on riding fast and powder performance. A shorter board will be easier to turn and a longer board will offer better float and stability riding off-piste.
