• Karakoram has managed to incorporate their fast-reacting Active joining technique into these solid-bindings. This technique is aimed at realizing direct power transfer to the edges. Refined by years of feedback from snowsurf master Alex Yoder, the Continuum is the perfect combination of high tech with intuitive feel. In addition, Karakoram offers a lifetime warranty on all parts.

Performance. 

• The Continuum is the result of lengthy testing within Karakoram's R&D team. It is the first solid binding to use their active joining technique. This makes the power transfer from boot to binding more efficient. The chassis uses asymmetrical sidewalls: the inside sidewall is the softer surf sidewall, the outside sidewall is the stiffer power sidewall. It wouldn't be an Alex Yoder binding if it didn't have a response, which is why Karakoram chose the Reactive Highback. This highback has more torsional stiffness which makes your power transfer faster, made for real cornering.

Comfort

• Karakoram's solid bindings are known to be more comfortable than their Alpine series, and that's the case with the Continuum. The binding uses an EVA footbed, which ensures that your knees and ankles are less fatigued. In addition, the footbed dampens vibrations you experience while riding downhill. For the straps, Karakoram chose the Airpod Surf Strap, a lightweight surfy strap made from Dupont Hytrel that distributes pressure well across your boot.

Use

• The Dual Ride-Stride Forward Lean Adjuster on the highback is made so that you can easily rotate it 90° and 180°. This gives you a Forward Lean of -8° when touring and the option of 0° to 22° when boarding.
